A VALUE-ADDED DATA BROKERAGE

Your company’s data
has a next chapter.

The records you create by doing business could help build better AI. We help you explore licensing opportunities, from an organized inventory to the right buyer conversation.

Assess your data

A clear path from
record to opportunity.

You know your business.
We help make its data understandable to a buyer.

01

Map your data.

Start with your systems, the years they cover and the records they hold. Estimates are welcome.

02

Understand the fit.

We assess the inventory against buyer requirements and identify the questions worth answering next.

03

Build the opportunity.

Where there is a fit, we introduce buyers and help coordinate review and a defined licensing agreement.

Useful data already
lives in your business.

Not every record is a fit. But useful data often starts with everyday work, rather than a dataset built for sale.

The working record.

Communications, documents, CRM activity and support history that show how real work gets done.

The production record.

CAD files, engineering revisions, production outputs and logistics records with context behind the result.

Know what you’re
stepping into.

Start with a conversation about your data. Decide how to proceed once the opportunity and its terms are clear.

Does Lumerent buy data or broker it?

Lumerent is a value-added data brokerage. We help you describe your data, assess its relevance to buyer requirements, introduce potential buyers and coordinate a deal. The buyer and licensing terms are established for each opportunity.

What kind of company data could be relevant?

Data produced through real work can be useful: communications, CRM history, support tickets, CAD and design files, production records, logistics events and structured exports. A familiar tool is a starting point. The history, content and rights behind it matter more than the tool itself.

Who would use the data, and for what?

Potential buyers include organizations developing AI models and related systems. Data may be used for training, evaluation or other agreed purposes. Intended use, permitted material and any restrictions need to be defined in a licensing agreement before a transfer.

How do you assess whether my data has value?

We start with an inventory: source systems, available years, formats and approximate quantities. We consider the context and completeness of the record, its fit with buyer needs and whether you can license it. A large archive alone doesn't establish value, and an inquiry doesn't guarantee a buyer or offer.

Do I need to upload data or connect our tools?

No. This first form asks for a description of your data and company contact details. It doesn't connect to your systems or request source files. Leave out credentials, customer information and confidential record contents.

Can we license data that involves customers or employees?

That needs a careful review of rights, permissions, contracts and sensitive information. Data created at your company isn't automatically yours to license. Tell us if ownership is mixed or uncertain. Any required legal or technical review must be scoped before data is shared.

Will we keep our data?

A license can grant defined usage rights without transferring ownership. The scope, exclusivity, duration and your ongoing use of the material depend on the agreement. We discuss these points as part of a specific opportunity.

What are the fees and payment terms?

Commercial terms are agreed for each engagement and opportunity. We discuss them before you proceed with a transaction. There is no published fee schedule, guaranteed valuation or payment timetable.

What happens after I submit?

Your assessment is saved with a receipt reference. Lumerent can review the inventory and follow up using the contact details you provide. If there is a plausible fit, the next conversation covers questions, rights and what further review would involve.
